Write me in English, but you don't talk me in this language

I enjoyed blogging. First, because I like to write, it's like a hobby for me. Also it was entertaining learn that experiences of my classmates, their musical likes and tell them to their blogs.

Before starting this activity I had another blog and I wrote poems or experiencies, but it was several years ago. For me it has always fun to write, especially narrate differents situations.

It's for this reason that I always wanted to continue writing, but now I would writting about places that I visited and would add photographs this places.

In my opinion it's much easier to express myself in Spanish than in English. For example, if I read a text in English I understand, but when I speak English, I can hardly understand what they're saying me. I know it's only practice and get used to English.

The good things that we realized the blogging in the English class is that we can explorer many words and increase own vocabulary in this language.

I think that it exercise was a good form for the class share your likes and I wouldn’t change nothing. Is really very entertaining. I only hope improve my pronunciaton in English and understand when the peopole sepak me in this language. 

Student Movement in Chile: education is a right

Since many years the Chilean students are fighting for public, gratuitous and quality education.

Currently there are many institutions that charge big money for Chilean students to have a complete educational career.

The Chilean student movement was born in 2006 with the "penguin revolution". Since that Chilean students fight for universal gratuitous for all students in Chile. From students of school and to university students.

Marches in Santiago, strikes, and the shots are a form of pressure to the government. That is why every year the students paralyzed for several months.

I think that better strategy is needed to pressure the government of Chile heard the demands of the students. Many times you lose more tan that you win.

I totally agree with the student movement, but sometimes I don’t share the way the students demand gratuitous education. I think that is necessary for students of Chile organized for teachers and workers, and create a national movement.

Raquel Correa, the interview made woman

Raquel Correa was an outstanding Chilean journalist. She was characterized by good conduct interviews in the media.

She was national journalism award in 1991. The journalist was the eighth of twelve brothers. Her parents were Alfredo Correa and Marta Prats. 

Raquel studied at the School of the Sacred Heart and then entered for the Academy Theatre Hugo Miller, hidden of her parents. 

After that disappointed that Theatre, she entered the School of Psychology at the University of Chile. In 1956 she began studying journalism in parallel at the same university. Finally, after three years of studying psychology, she abandoned psychology and she dedicated completely of journalism.

Raquel Correa worked in magazine “Vea”, magazine “Cosas” and newspapers as “La Tercera y El Mercurio”. She worked too in radio and television as Canal 13, TVN, radio “Minería”, “Universidad de Chile”, “Cooperativa” and more. 

When she began her program of television "De cara al país" she interviewed to Ricardo Lagos Escobar. The political faced in television to dictator Augusto Pinochet Ugarte. This fact was marked wich "Lagos finger".

Raquel Correa was a one of few journalist that speak without fear. 

My favourite singerS and gruopS

I don't have a favourite singer or group, because I like differents style of music. Jorge Drexler and Kevin Johansen are my favourite singers of romantic music.

I remember when I was a concert of Kevin Johansen in theatre "Nescafé de las Artes" and the singer gave a show with the famous Argentinian artist Ricardo Siri Liniers. That day I gave a drawing that I do.

In Chile are many of singer and groups that I like. For example, Nano Stern in the romantic music category.  This singer have a conection with his public and his concert are with full emotions.

I also like Argentina and Chilean cumbia. For example, Santa Feria, Guachupé, Juanito Ayala, The Pibes Chorros and Amar Azul. I like "bacilar" this songs. Is genial really.

I think that I like all style of music, because too I like historic singer which Silvio Rodriguez, Víctor Jara, Quilapayún and Inti Illimani.

I'm sure that I don´t mention very singer that like me, because I love the music and I feel that are many people that compose good music for we enjoys that it.

Chilean Patagonia is a dream

I am always loved photography. When I was a child my father had a camera and I took it in secret and I took many photos. It was before that existed digital cameras. 

Two years ago I worked and gathered enough money to buy a professional photo camera: The Nikon D5100. 

This camera is my partner of travel and birthday. The best photo I took was in Chilean Patagonia, in National Park Torres del Paine. That day I did trekking with my travel friends and we climbed up to the horns during three hours. It was for we could watch the sunrise.

In that moment I discovered that the effort was worthwhile. The weather was good and I could take the photography to the horns of Las Torres and the fantastic lake turquoise.

I think that it is one of my favorite photo, but I will return to Patagonia because it has infinite beautiful places for take many and great pictures.

Why "PD: I love you" is the best movie

My favourite movie always will be "PD: I love You". Because is a history that made me cry.

The movie is based on the 2004 lrish novel of the same name written by Cecelia Ahern. In 2007 became a american drama film directed by Richard LaGravense.

I like who this film reflect life of Holly and Gerry. They are the most romantic couple. But, Gerry died of a brain tumor adn Holly's life break down.

Nevertheless, Gerry left to Holly a letter every month. Each of the letters, had instrucctions and were sign with a words: "PD. I Love You".

The movie was filmed in Nueva York, and the county of Wicklow in Irlanda.

My favourite prhase of movie is when Holly said: " My objetive is create something, just know that if you don't discover that something will being ordinary and no matter if it is a work of art, a taco or a pair of sock. You only create something new. Then you will finally understood that will be yoy, in the world, outside of you and you can see it, hear it, read it, feel it, and know a little more about you, a little more than any other".

 

My dear camera

I don't like to stick to technological objetcs, but I have a camera Nikon D5100. It is my favorite piece of technology because I bougth it and it has a special meaning for me.

I love the photography and I started exploring the world of photography when I was a child and the first cameras were with revealed.

Always I take photographs in my family, in all family reunions, birthdays, christenings, etc. Is for this reazon that I don't appear in any photo.

I always travel with my camera. I love photograph places and freeze the moments.

Life without it would be different and more boring. I always dreamed of having my own camera.

The last summer I traveled to Patagonia and I could potograph the Torres del Paine and many wonderfull landscapes that have south of continent.

I like to photograph the singer when I go to a concerts.

I hope to work, raise money and buy the necessary accesories to take better pictures.

A different semester

This semester will be very exhausting for me, because I have many subjects and activities extracurriculars.

In the university I have seven subjects and it is too much, considering that the last years I did have maximum four and five subjects. Also I am working wich editor in the program “News city” of the JGM radio, and this activity needs many time.

I will help to students of subject “journalism in radio” and I am hope show their a beautiful and funny world of the Radio.

This year I will carry on working wich “packaging” at the supermarket all weekends.

I know that it will be a year with many things and I will have Little time for my family and friends. But I think that with organization and vocation imposible is nothing.

The most important is that this semester is full of good things and finally I will hope get good result for all sacrifice. But I think that i’ts will be good.

Why I want to go to Europe?

I would like visit many countries, for example Europe. Because I have always dream with visiting all those places which have many years of history and museums.

Europe is a cradle of western culture country. Is a continent with many diversity and different languages. A place that I would like to visit for example is the city of Venecia in Italy. In this city, I would like to sail in a “gondola” over the "Big Canal".

But, this is not the only city I would like to visit. If I had the chance to study in Europe, I would study in the unversity of Cambridge, in United Kingdom. This place is beautiful.

Also I would like to visit other places, like Torre Eiffel in France, because this place is a very romantic and beautiful. I would travel all over the European continent, because I would like to taste all the different tipical foods of each country.

It would be nice to know all this countries with that have a lot of knowledge. 

My biography

My name is Nicole Andrea Venegas Reveco, but during my life my friends said me with differents names. For example, when I went to school, my friends said me "chicken", its was my nickname. When I get at University, my friends began said me "Naicol", but both dislike me.

I was born on the 15th July 1993 in Recoleta. I studied all my life in Liceo Mater Purissima, in Maipú. This college is only woman and I have nice remembers that it.

In the school, I going to University and I want to be journalist. Actually, I am studing, journalism at University of Chile, and I like it, but the best is work in the radio.

I live with my father, Leandro Venegas, my mom, Soledad Reveco, my sister, Constanza Venegas and my cat, Pumba.

I love playing football with my friends, and being with my family all the times. I consider a person very bashful.

I love travel for Chile and make many things at the same time, for example, cook: The "Pie de Limón" is my specialty.
